Affiliations and Training
Dr. Tali Burstein is a Clinical Psychologist, registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. She is also registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia and was previously registered with the Minnesota Board of Psychology. Dr. Burstein is also a member of the Canadian Psychological Association, Ontario Psychological Association, and the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. Dr. Burstein currently provides virtual services to individuals in Ontario.
Dr. Burstein received her Masters and Doctoral degrees from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. She completed various training programs through esteemed clinics and hospitals, including the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic of St. Joseph’s Hospital (Hamilton, Ontario), the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, and the McGill University Health Centre (Montreal, Quebec). Upon completion of her Ph.D., Dr. Burstein worked in Minnesota and quickly became a primary referral for patients and medical practitioners from the Mayo Clinic.
Throughout her career, Dr. Burstein has been involved in developing and assessing measures of anxiety and depression, and her work has been published and cited in peer-reviewed journals. She has also been involved in developing and providing individual and group therapies for adults with ADHD, anxiety disorders, OCD, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
